Thanksgiving Plans

The holidays are upon us. The leaves have fallen, the air is crisp, and it is the week of Thanksgiving, and in the studio we have been celebrating our gratitude.

One of our favorite things about this time of years is spending time together outside of the studio, and sharing our own traditions. This week our team will spend lots of time with family and friends.

This year Bria & Charlie are hosting Thanksgiving. After they’ve gobbled up the last of the turkey and enjoyed Grandma Anna’s sugar cookies, they will head South to Harmony. Charlie will get in some hunting, and after, the entire family will get together for their annual dinner & a movie. Bria’s father loves renting out the town theater just so everyone can be together.

Katie celebrated Thanksgiving early this year, and spent this this last week enjoying left over mashed potatoes. Her favorite Thanksgiving tradition happens the day after when she and her high school friends return home to Clara City. Together, they kick off Christmas, starting with Grinchmas and the Pancake Dinner. At dusk, the town lights up with the annual Lighted Christmas Parade, complete with fireworks. Katie wouldn’t miss this day in back home for anything.

Kari and her two sons will be celebrating Thanksgiving at her niece’s house. Together, with 20 other family members they will enjoy dishes they have had in their family for generations. Kari loves having the family together, and preparing food for everyone, including her favorite cooked cranberry bowl.

Michelle will be flying down to Ohio for Thanksgiving. For the first time ever, they will not be celebrating at Grandma’s house. Instead, Grandma will be enjoying sitting back and relaxing, but will still make her “famous stuffing,” that pairs perfectly with Michelle’s homemade cheesy potatoes. Thanksgiving wouldn’t be complete without an intense game of monopoly and a day full of football. This year will be Michelle and Ross’s first Thanksgiving as newlyweds ♥.

Together with my husband and daughters, we will be going to my parents’ house to celebrate Thanksgiving and our baby’s first birthday! As always, we will watch the Thanksgiving Day parade and football. With four generations, and both sides of my parent’s families we will have a house full of grandkids, cousins, parents and grandparents, my favorite part of the holidays. Not to mention the scrumptious food prepared by my Mom.

Lindsey heads to Wahpeton, North Dakota for Thanksgiving. It will be her first time celebrating with her bou, Jared’s side of the family. She is excited, but doesn’t know what to expect….
