There’s a fine line between Christmas and winter. As someone who had a wedding 5 little days before Christmas, I had to be adamant about that: this is not a Christmas wedding, this is a winter wedding. No red. No bows. No santa. But birch logs and snow and evergreen all mixed with white twinkling lights? Yes.

Because you can tell. If you walk into someone’s home for a Valentine’s Day party and their tree and stockings are still up, it just doesn’t feel right. And yet, when all the holiday décor is down, your cozy winter house may start to feel quite a bit less warm and full.
