Today we are excited to share with you a new series this month called #SpringIntoHome. We will be sharing home tours of a talented group of fellow Instagramers for the next month! By now, it’s probably apparent how important Instagram is for our business. Not just because we find new clients, but the endless amounts of inspiration we get everyday from fellow designers is invaluable. Luckily, we also have gained new friendships.

To kick off this fun series, we are featuring Doreen Corrigan. Doreen is a Blogger/Instagramer we have been following for a while now… If you check out her Instagram page you will see why! She is all about color, feminine detail, and sharing creative DIY projects to make your life a little more beautiful. Follow along on her blog, you won’t regret it.

Now for the fun part. There is nothing we love more than getting a sneak peek into creative people’s personal homes. Doreen’s house does not disappoint!

How beautiful is the foyer in her home? The open staircase is grand and yet has a timeless feel to it. Doreen and her husband purchased the home a few years ago and have been making updates along the way- including painting the staircase and adding a beautiful runner. What a difference a coat of paint can make!

Their living room is a beautiful mixture of coastal elegance with a casual vibe. Loving the mixture of textures, color and the playfulness the beach scene artwork adds.

One of the things that draws us to Doreen is she is practical. She believes beautiful spaces should be affordable and accessible to everyone. She shares on her blog just how to do so. See the pineapple chandelier in her playroom? She found it on Ebay and painted it herself to give it a fresh take on traditional.

The built-ins they added in their great room are beautiful. The black sconces, neutral decor, and clean lines on the white cabinets creates a perfect anchor to the 2 story fireplace in the room. 

The dining room is a sweet spot for us, as its the same table and chairs we have in our studio’s conference room. You can never go wrong with the Monastery Collection at Restoration Hardware.

And last but definitely not least… her laundry room. The pineapple wallpaper is the perfect addition to a space some of us dread to go into. Doreen grew up with her mother loving pineapples and it looks like she is following in her footsteps! This paper makes our hearts skip a beat 😉 So there you have it.
