It’s no secret that we love to throw a good party, and we’re always looking for fabulous recipes to try. One of the most frustrating parts of entertaining is finding those perfect recipes you know will be a hit. Our team at BHI is lucky to have some amazing cooks around us! We decided we would create The Cooking Collective as a resource of our favorite recipes from those great cooks in our lives.
My mother in law, Kay, is a fabulous cook. I’ve always thought of her meals as fresh and balanced. You know when she’s cooking it will always be delicious! When Charlie and I started dating one of the first meals I ever had with his family was Kay’s salmon. I was hooked! Inspired by Ina Garten, but with Kay’s little twist to it, we are sharing this delicious salmon for our first ever Cooking Collective recipe!
Kay typically pairs this salmon recipe with a simple pesto pasta. It’s light enough for a summer meal, but hearty enough to eat all year long. Serve a bottle of white wine or rosé and you have the perfect, simple meal for a dinner party.
This recipe is definitely a must try. You can make it for a dinner party, or just your family! Stay tuned for Kay’s favorite Pesto recipe that compliments this Salmon so well, coming later this month!
Do you have certain recipes you are always on the hunt for? We would love to hear them! We have a whole list of delicious food we want to share but of course we are always looking for things our readers really want to use!
