It’s the end of August, which means these are the last days of summer. The days when mornings are cool, afternoons are hot… and the store shelves are being stocked with fall and Halloween decor and the summer decorations are being clearanced.

While perusing the aisles of Michaels today… I came across their dollar and more section. Lots of junk, but if you look hard enough you can find some great deals!

$2 tea light holders… tie them with fishing line and hang from a chandelier, umbrella or tree. Perfect!

These sea shells would look adorable with sand in a candle holder. Add water, a flower and a floating candle and its a quick and easy centerpiece!

Love these star fish! Tie them to the outside of a vase with twine… another simple centerpiece!

How cute are these braided rope napkin rings??? And for $1 each???

After finding all of these little gems at Michaels, it made me feel inspired to pull together an end of summer party inspiration board!
