I had so much fun working on this project. It’s a Tudor style home, with a need for a little updating. Carpet, paint, furniture and decor is what we did to transform this blank slate into an updated traditional living room. My main objective was to create a fresh, updated space but still make it feel like it fits with the rest of the home. This sometimes is easier said than done!

Well, I think we accomplished just that. Soft colors, classic artwork, and some fresh accessories really brought this room to 2013 while staying true to its original style.

Here are the before’s: (well actually, the walls were already painted and the old furniture moved. SOOO bad at taking before pics!) But you still get a glimpse of the bright blue carpet!
