{Project Reveal}: Kansas City Home

What a fun project this has been! It’s not that often we are given carte blanche on a job… but this was one of them. It’s funny though; even when we have free reign to really design anything (with final client approval of course) I still stick to the style of the home and the function of the space. If a home is screaming a certain style (ie. KC homes are known for their heavily tuscan style) I can’t just ignore what the architecture of the space is.

This home needed to be a place for entertaining as well as a place for relaxation and family time. The style of the home had a touch of tuscan with some feminine details, which we wanted to down play. The end result were comfortable rooms, a soft palette, with a classic style that would be attractive to many different design styles.

7 months later, we are wrapping this job up and so excited to share the photos with you!

Thanks as always to the wonderful Graphic Executions Design Studio for the beautiful photos (and for flying down to take them!)

Love your classic, timeless design! So many elements of inspiration for me with my Tuscan style home. Know this was a while back but do you recall what carpet is in the above bedroom and what the wall color is in this Kansas City home.
