T – 7 weeks before we move into our new digs and we are beyond excited! I thought I would share our design board for the dining room. The days of formal and informal dining rooms are over. But being a total nerd and loving to use different sets of china, linens, etc. I wanted a room that felt both formal enough to use all of my pretty china (I’m up to 4 sets already!) and casual enough to be our every day eating area (with 2 kids… well 3 if you count Charlie š )
When we were at High Point Market this spring I fell in love with this chandelier from Madegoods… its a show stopper, so unique and… I’ve never used it before! (Can be hard to do lately!)
Can we talk about these adorable ceramic dishes? From non other than the Lauren Conrad collection on her fun retail website www.littlemarket.com. (Looks like I will be having 5 sets of dishes now…)
Kind of obsessed with this artwork from www.leifshop.com. It’s refreshing to not have busy artwork everywhere and the price is right on these pieces.
Do you want to know one of our secret sources??? The website www.houseofantiquehardware.com is an amazing site for unique, good quality, and inexpensive hardware! We love this site and go to it often when working on our new construction projects…
So there you have it! For the next 7 weeks I will be dreaming about sitting in this room enjoying a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine (I’ll be able to have one by then!)… needless to say we are beyond excited to move in!
