Just the other day I wrote a post about kitchen island details, you can check it out here! While I was writing it, I thought it would be a good idea to share some details that can be used when designing kitchen hoods as well! Really, the options are endless, a while back I even shared with you all my favorite metal hoods here. Here’s just a few unique details you can incorporate into your next kitchen hood!
Everybody always needs extra storage in the kitchen. This is the perfect place for oils and your cooking essentials!
The design of these corbels is perfection. I love when brackets run straight down to the counter, it makes for a more substantial look!
This design mixes both linear and curved lines. Running the hood to the ceiling makes for a greater impact in the space.
How charming! Adding sconces to the hood is like the cherry on top! Just another added detail 🙂
Instead of corbels, this design features pull out cabinets on either side of the hood. Extra {hidden} storage!
We discovered this design this week and thought it was clever! A simple, centered hood with decorative corbels on there side make the whole wall look like it’s incorporated into the design!
Of course, ending it with one of our own. (You can see the whole reveal of this house from yesterday’s post here.) We love how this custom curved hood design turned out!
