Saint Paul Charm
New Construction
You know what’s a beautiful thing? When the moment you meet someone, all you feel is good vibes. Real, genuine, sweet vibes! This was the truth for our Highland House clients. They came to us with a clear vision for their new home and it made perfect sense to us. Good style and 100% trust….they really made this job easy!
People are always asking us what our favorite features of the homes we design are…when it comes to this one, I nearly lose count! From the charming, navy, cottage inspired exterior, to the black and brass island pendants in the kitchen, (don’t forget about the navy and pink powder bath wallpaper too) everything about this project made us giddy. Check out the details for yourself.
Open to the kitchen and the great room, the dining room incorporated just the right amount of modern + traditional to the home.
The kitchen was functional and pretty! Thermador appliances, Quartzite countertops (stronger than marble, and gorgeous like marble too) and inset cabinetry were the base of this room. Top it off by throwing in a bold punch of black through the lighting and barstools.

classic and charming
The main source of color in the house was the great room. We had way too much fun mixing textiles and incorporating fun patterns throughout. All we can say is, Those. Plaid. Chairs.
The foyer and powder bath were the perfect welcome for this family’s guests. After all, what’s more welcoming than a healthy dose of pink? 🙂

Upstairs, the master suite, laundry and daughter’s bedroom were tucked away. The fun didn’t stop in the main living though, more pops of color, cement tile and the most darling hanging chair find their home on this floor.

While there’s so many special features in the interior of this home, there’s just something about the exterior that can’t be beat. The navy is fresh, happy and pairs so nicely with the bright white trim.

Hello. I have fallen in love with the exterior colors. I see that you posted the BM Hale Navy, but can you share what the trim color is? Is it the Revere Pewter (or is that the laundry room) ? I would really appreciate the help!
