When most of us think of a classic Christmas, we envision red poinsettia’s and bunches of green holly throughout our home…most likely a dusting of white fluffy snow too. Although, as new home trends come and go, new ideas of “classic Christmas’s” come into play. Perhaps your interior is fairly light, and the traditional red and green color combination might feel to heavy in your home. Today we share with you non-traditional color combos for Christmas decor. We’re sure that at least one of these combinations will work in your home!
1. Pink.
I’m sure there’s a few husbands out there that will disagree with this, but I think pink is the perfect color to incorporate into your holiday decor without having to use red. Especially paired with white, pink Christmas decor can be soft and dreamy!
2. Black & White.
Especially for people who aren’t attracted to color, this is a great way to incorporate interest in your tree through pattern and texture! Plus it’s a great way to use some buffalo check ribbon!
3. Mint Green.
Just like pink, mint green is a fresh take on a classic Christmas color and it pairs nicely with fresh Christmas greens!
Are you a traditionalist at heart? No worries! We’ll still take a classic red tree any day!
