The Perfect Time to Shop For Your Outdoor Space
We are a week into July, and reveling in these beautiful summer days. For many clients, the summer brings their focus to their outdoor spaces. At this point in the season, its a great time to shop for outdoor products. Brands are now heading towards fall and holiday, and their outdoor collections are going on sale. So what better time for you to shop?! We’ve had these rooms saved under our Outdoor Spaces board on Pinterest for a while now and thought we would share today how to get a similar look to some of our favorite spaces!
Sunrooms
This room has been on my personal board for when we add a sitting room to our Master Bedroom. I just love the casual, bright feel of this space. I can see myself taking a nap, working on my laptop, or watching a show when I have those precious moments of down time once the children go to bed.

Play Houses
I will admit, kid’s toys aren’t always the most attractive things to look at. Talk about living the #BHILiveBeautifully motto… fixing up those not so pretty playhouses to look like an extension of your own home. I just love how Winter Daisy fixed up this playhouse for her children! Definitely on Charlie’s “honey-do” list 😉

Outdoor Living Rooms
Having a space to relax outside is one of my musts for a client. No matter where we are designing, Minnesota, Chicago, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Baltimore… every house we work on has some sort of area to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Using functional but comfortable pieces is key to designing these spaces. One of my favorite outdoor spaces is in Monika Hibbs home. The light and airy tones are perfect for those hot days when you need to get out of the sun for a little bit, but want to enjoy the outdoor air.

Outdoor Dining
One of our favorite spaces to design is an outdoor dining room. I love mixing the natural tones with soft colors like blue and white. Comfortable dining chairs are a must to ensure long casual dinners with great conversation. Consider the surface the table and chairs will be sitting on. Make sure the dining chairs are easy to pull in and out, and of course don’t forget the indoor/outdoor fabric to make cleaning easy!
We may be half way through summer but there is still plenty of time to decorate your outdoor spaces and enjoy these beautiful days!
