You may or may not have noticed the missing post for November’s Monthly Edit. Let’s just put it this way… it was one. crazy. month. The holiday season always kicks us into high gear trying to prepare clients home’s for the holidays. On top of our regular projects, we also spend a lot of time decorating our clients homes for Christmas! Definitely a festive time of year! Today, The Monthly Edit: December edition.

The Christmas Wish List

It has become an annual tradition for me to share my Christmas wish list on the blog. It turns out my husband does look at this list when shopping the day or two before Christmas 😉 {Everything from last year was a hit, see the post here} This year, I have a mix of fashion, home decor, and electronics.

1.  I’m secretly somewhat of gadget nerd. The more I can control from my iphone the better!

2. Cute accessories are always an easy gift idea! Love these fur ear muffs, the navy velvet clutch {so stinking cute!} the watch, the new Tory bag… Hard to                        choose a favorite!

3. A few more items on the list… cute pj’s, beautiful festive shoes, and a jacket that is perfect for the office. Comfortable, casual enough but easy to wear to                     jobsites and meetings!

     4. As you may know, one of my favorite things to collect are beautiful coffee table books. We received the ever so beautiful “Poetry of Place” by Bobby McAlpine               and Susan Sunny. One of my favorite quotes in the book that defines the images within:

True infectious beauty is not easily described as perfection-there is no doctrine for it.

When the world does not look the way it should to our hearts, we need to create one that does.

         It’s the perfect description of why our job is so important. In a sometimes not so beautiful world, creating a home that allows your heart to see the beauty around           you is necessary for us to become whole and live our best lives.
