Okay, I have to admit something. When it comes to books, I have a major weakness. From coffee table books to cookbooks, it’s become a borderline hoarder situation in my home. Over the years, they have become one of my favorite sources of inspiration. From beautiful stories, gorgeous photograph to delicious recipes, these books can be found in almost every room of my house. And why not when they also add height, texture, and color to any space?
If you’re looking for an easy and fairly inexpensive way to freshen up your home, I always recommend adding and/or swapping out books! Whether they sit on top of your coffee table, rest against your backsplash in your kitchen, or adorn a bookshelf, your choice in books can be a great way to show off your personal style and bring character to a space.

Can I ask what the pink book is pictured under the green Thomas O.Brien book?
Great design books - already have all of them!
I AGREE! Books are inspiration, learning, creative and they fill a space with something usable and interesting. I love your choices! I also enjoy standbys such as Bunny Williams’ “Affair with a House” and for history and fun, “The House in Good Taste” by Elsie de Wolfe. Great ideas!! ❤️
