We kicked off 2021 with the reveal of our modern Dryden Road House and mediterranean Miami House and finished the year sharing our traditional Greenwich House and European influenced Prestwick House – needless to say, it was a year full of various design that allowed us to step out and take on new challenges. Back in April, we opened the Brooke & Lou Pop Up. It’s crazy to think that we’ve had our Brooke & Lou storefront for less than a year – and what was initially a pop up shop, is now our permanent home! We are so grateful for all of our amazing clients, customers and team members who’ve made our store a success. It’s truly a dream come true to have our own little spot to call home!

On the topic of Press Features, BHI also had some notable mentions throughout the year starting with a fan favorite, our Dryden Road Project. This project was featured in Rue Magazine’s first ever print issue! Additionally, our Marianna Cottage Project was shared in the Cottage Journal.

In addition to press, we also participated in several exciting partnership opportunities. In 2021, Bria became an ambassador for Thermador and Design Manager – two companies we love and stand by! For the holidays, Bria worked in collaboration with Dogwood Hill to design a collection of beautiful gift wrap, tags, holiday cards and so much more. Shop the collection here!

Speaking of our warehouse – in September, BHI and Brooke & Lou held our biggest warehouse sale yet! This sale took weeks of prep and over the course of two days, our warehouse was wiped clean of furniture, rugs, accessories, lighting and so much more. Stay tuned – we may just have another warehouse sale in the works!

Back in May, Brooke & Lou launched our first ever Kids Collection. This was a category that we had dreamed of having ever since the launch of B&L back in 2018. We were so excited to see all of your orders come in as it showed us that you all loved the collection/category just as much as we do! Explore the Kids Collection here.

Every year we hold a fall retreat for our team where we can set goals, align on current projects and bond as a team outside of the office. This year, we rented a beautiful lakeside home in Wisconsin where we did a little work but also enjoyed cooking up meals as a team and playing games. It was such a fun little getaway and created so many sweet new memories!
