Welcome to our Greensboro Project located in the historic country club neighborhood of Greensboro, NC. This project and this charming town have captured our hearts and we are so excited to share it with you!
Our clients fell in love with the charm of this existing home, deeply rooted in history and classic aesthetics. While they cherished its timeless appeal, they sought our help in refining the interior furnishings to complement the existing character. They wanted to honor the history of the home, but with a young family they needed to keep things approachable and usable.
Our clients liked pattern and color which we definitely used to our advantage with the addition of the wallpaper in the dining room and mudroom. They also liked pattern on furniture (the gingham sectional!!) which is a great way to help conceal any stains that may occur from the kiddos.
FOYER
We kept things fairly simple in the foyer with the addition of a semi-flush mount and the new Audrey Chair from Bria’s collection with CR Laine to bring in the playful element of the scallops. Just down the hall you’ll find an arched entrance into the dining room where more Audrey Chairs sit, bringing your eye through the space seamlessly.
DINING ROOM
From the foyer you’re led into the formal dining room. The pattern and colors from the wallpaper and custom drapery blends with the more linear light fixture and dining table. We added a large rug and secondary light source to keep this space feeling cozy and warm while staying true to the traditional roots of this space.
KITCHEN & BREAKFAST NOOK
Through the charming french doors you’re lead directly to the kitchen and breakfast nook. We created relaxed roman shades for the enviable surplus of windows in the breakfast nook and used Life Friendly™ fabric on the dining banquette to protect from any spills or accidents. The addition of walnut barstools by the kitchen counter tie in some of the darker shades in the room, including the bronze hardware, contrasting with the otherwise bright space.
LIVING ROOM & DEN
Both the upper and lower living spaces in this home are thoughtfully designed to be both comfortable and inviting. Plush furniture throughout ensures a cozy atmosphere, while vibrant colors and patterns in both the accessories and furnishings inject personality and warmth into every corner. Whether you’re lounging upstairs or downstairs, you’ll find yourself surrounded by livable charm and stylish comfort.
BEDROOM
The Ford Bed seen here is part of Bria’s new collection with CR Laine. The modified wing-back headboard adds a touch of sophistication and is supported by a sturdy wood stretcher base. The wing is shortened to make accessing the nightstand easy and comfortable. The clients adorable dog settled in effortlessly, embracing his cozy new home!
MUDROOM
The addition of the wallpaper and custom wall hooks make this space not only charming, but functional for the clients and their young family. There is ample built-in storage along the wall for the entire family to hide away their belongings.
