When we first shared glimpses of our Minnetrisa Project on our Instagram, our inbox was instantly flooded with questions about the paint colors. And we get it – choosing the perfect shade can make all the difference in creating a home that feels warm, welcoming, and timeless. This new build balances classic charm with a fresh, inviting palette, and today, we’re sharing the four paint colors that helped bring this space to life. Whether you’re planning a renovation or simply looking for a fresh coat of inspiration, these hues are worth considering.

The soft green hue in the kitchen and pantry was by far our most asked-about paint color. Soft Fern by Benjamin Moore is subtle yet adds a welcoming warmth that complements the home’s natural charm.

For the mudroom, we opted for a soft grey that brings warmth to the doors, trim and cabinetry. Keeping the ceiling and walls white allowed the space to feel bright and open while maintaining a cozy, grounded feel.

For the boys bathroom cabinetry and window trim we chose a rich, earthy green that adds depth and contrast while staying cohesive with the natural tones throughout the home as well as tying in the pop of green seen in the shower tiles.

Choosing the perfect white paint is trickier than it seems – it needs just the right balance to avoid reading too grey, green or blue in different lighting. For the neutral walls throughout this home, including the entryway, dining room built-in shelving, and additional bathrooms, we went with White Dove by Benjamin Moore. It’s a soft, warm white that feels inviting and timeless, a close second to our other go-to white, Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore, which you’ll often see in our work.
