If you follow us on Instagram you’ve seen us talking about Carly Zucker‘s beautiful closet we had the pleasure of designing for her with John Kraemer & Sons.
Recently, the space was featured on House Beautiful where we broke down our 5 ingenious storage ideas to borrow from this ultimate glam closet. To see the piece, click here. Today we’re sharing more of Carly’s closet and the inspiration and sources for the space!
Compared to other rooms in the home, this space is exclusively Carlys, so we wanted to create a really feminine, pretty space. It feels cohesive with the rest of the house, but it’s glamorous and girly, like her! For us, it’s the perfect mixture of femininity and functionality and John Kraemer & Sons absolutely knocked it out of the park when it came to utilizing every single square inch of the space.
The matching islands feature clear glass insets with jewelry drawers beneath. This is a game changer because you can always see where things are, but at the same time your jewelry is kept clean, and the glass provides a surface for packing a suitcase or setting things down. If you have things in boxes, you tend not to use them, so being able to have an open display means you can just grab and go!
One of our favorite ares of the space is the beautiful vanity that Carly can use for putting on her makeup and for those last minute touch-ups. We selected beautiful, white Cambria quartz instead of marble or wood because of how indestructible and timeless it is. Some things just never go out of style.
This closet came together so beautifully and we couldn’t love it more. Now, the only question is… when can we move in? 😉
