Over the years, some of our most favorite projects have been renovations (see a few here, here, here, and here). We have to admit, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of seeing a beautiful transformation take place. As designers, it’s our job to see the potential, the solutions, and the opportunities in a home, and renovations are the perfect occasion to bring those ideas to fruition.
For our most recent reno, our Nob Hill project, our clients came to us looking to refresh their home to better suit their personal style and needs of their small family. The homeowners had done renovations in the past to previous homes of theirs, so they weren’t afraid to take the leap of faith with us to create something truly showstopping. And, boy, did it pay off.
From reconfiguring the floor-plan, adding a separate pantry space, designing custom built-in benches, cabinetry, and millwork, to incorporating life-friendly features like wallpaper and specific furnishing selections, this home is a place their family will enjoy for years to come.
The finished product are spaces that feel unique and fresh while still exhibiting those traditional, classic details that never go out of style. Our favorite combo.
