Hi there! I have to admit this blog post is a little self-serving. Lately, I’ve been diving into pulling together my own home which has been surprisingly my most difficult project yet! Who knew so many choices could be a burden! I’ve been envisioning a space that is classic while remaining clean and bright – updated traditional if you will. I love anchoring a space with timeless pieces while mixing in modern elements and accessories. For example below, the Gustavian Bergere chair mixed with the Kelly Wearstler fabric on the black and white pillow. As you all know, when it comes to my personal style I’m a black and white girl. The brass touches from the lighting and artwork framing warms up the (lack of) color palette and adds to the slightly parisian feel. I like the thought of coming home to a space that isn’t fussy but is still cozy with plenty of texture from pieces such as the calf hair rug and velvet spot pillow from our friends at Ryan Studio. Now I just need to convince my landlord to rip up my floors and install a herringbone pattern!
