Something we are seeing more and more of is painting your trim and cabinets a color other than white. It’s an interesting detail that jazzes up a room, and doesn’t have to be done in the whole house!

After our Chicago trip we are working on the office space of the Kansas City renovation and are so excited that our clients are willing to make a bold move in there! (more on that to come)

Let’s start with something subtle… isn’t this a simple way to add interest to the space? White walls, gray trim!

We love adding color with the trim and cabinets… notice the 2 rooms and how they are the inverse of each other?

This space couldn’t make me happier… the color of blue is perfection!
