Business Manager

Job Description

We are a growing Interior Design and Product line and are looking to add to our hardworking and passionate team. The very important position of Business Manager is available for a dedicated, forward thinking leader to manage our accounting department. This position requires someone who is adaptable, organized, and fanatical about helping a business grow and expand. Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting needs for both brands, including reconciliation, sales tax, income tax and payroll.
  • Approve and run monthly reports for both brands.
  • Run monthly design fee billing and submit to clients on a monthly basis.
  • Run annual audit of 1099/1096, certificate of insurance, W-9s, annual budget, workers comp and inventory.
  • Create annual budgets for both brands.
  • Assist with employee relations for both BHI and Brooke & Lou.
  • Manage facilities/properties contracts.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate solid knowledge in accounting and operations, including experience with sales tax and income tax.
  • Management experience.
  • Familiarity with accounting programs- specifically Quickbooks and Design Manager.

Personal Assistant

Job Description

Under the direction of the owner, support CEO in all aspects of personal tasks. Work closely with owner to maintain an organized and balanced life.

Job Responsibilities

Home

  • Grocery shop for the family 1x per week.
  • Meal prep and prepare meals as requested for family dinners.
  • Assist with family laundry including bed linens.
  • Light to moderate cleaning of home.
  • Take dry cleaning in 1x per week.

Family

  • Schedule all doctor appointments for family and fill in when necessary with transportation to appointments.
  • Take family pet to groomers 1x per month.
  • Take pet to daycare 1x per week.
  • Provide transportation to and from school for children when necessary.
  • Assist with watching children on no school days and sick days when needed.
  • Assist with party planning.
  • Assist with household shopping including school supplies, lunches, uniforms, and other needs of the family.

Personal

  • Manage all lunches for CEO
  • Shopping and returns as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule all beauty appointments.

Business

  • Coordinate all photoshoots at home with marketing team. Manage house expectations.

Qualifications

  • Organized, professional person.
  • Loves children and dogs. Experience nannying or teaching is preferred.
  • Can-do attitude, forward thinking and a positive kind person.

Marketing/Web Intern

Job Responsibilities

Brooke & Lou

  • Assisting in copy creation for all digital/print pieces
  • Photographing products on white backdrop and editing (can be trained on this)
  • Facebook management
  • Assist with photoshoot and public appearance preparation
  • Work on influencer collaboration campaigns
  • Website maintenance (i.e. updating copy, imagery, etc.)

Bria Hammel Interiors

  • Assist with the planning and execution of blog and portfolio photoshoots
  • Light social media management (i.e. responding to comments/direct messages, connecting with vendors/brands)
  • Assisting in creation of all digital/print pieces (i.e. blog post writing, monthly e-newsletters, etc.)
  • Facebook Management
  • Website maintenance (i.e. updating copy, imagery, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Team player who loves to collaborate on new ideas and initiatives
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (not required but preferred)
  • Strong writing skills
  • Organized
