It’s often assumed that lacquer is considered a modern finish. However, I love how it’s shown here in a few more traditional settings but also in very unique applications such as doors and ceilings!
Great use of lacquer in a more subdued AND traditional space!
I have had this pinned on my spaces board for a long time. I can’t resist that white lacquer ceiling. I would love to do this in my own home someday.
Another great traditional application – I love how it adds pizzazz to simple beadboard wainscoting.
This panelling is killer! It could go either way – traditional or modern – but the emerald lacquer gives it that extra punch.
Great example of a unique application. Would definitely be a conversation starter for a guest room! Beautiful two-tone design.
I had to throw in this mirror – I love the little Pagoda detail at the top! Plus, white lacquer accessories are always at the top of my list.
