With all the new construction we have been working on a recurring trend we keep seeing is the inclusion of a wine cellar in the home. Sometimes they are just little closets turned into a cute storage area, sometimes larger walk in spaces, and sometimes an entire room!
With every wine cellar we create whether big or small we try to add creative details to make the room a special space, and a wow factor for our clients.
Here are a few wine cellars we have worked on:

In this wine cellar we used brick pavers that the builder found from a torn up pavered road. A reclaimed wine barrel chandelier and a vintage wine barrel to create a space for wine tasting in the room.

A hidden spiral staircase with private access from the Master Suite to the wine cellar made this a one of a kind space!

This wine cellar is a focal point behind the bar. Uplighting on the stone columns at the entrance of the cellar create a fun mood for the space.
We are always looking for new inspiration for the wine cellars we are working on. Here are some of our favorites right now:
Using beautiful doors to confine a wine cellar is a popular trend that allows the space to create a specific look.

This more modern wine cellar has beautiful modern glass doors. This space, designed by friend and fellow designer Mary Hickey, is one of our favorite casual wine cellars.
