Greetings, readers!

As the winter months approach there’s nothing I enjoy more than curling up on the sofa with some hot cocoa and a good movie! I always look forward to seeing what the most anticipated movies will be for the year and patiently wait for there debut in theatres. Since 2014 will be wrapping up soon, I thought it would be fun to gather some of my fave films from the year and portray them into interiors.

Frozen

Released almost a year ago and we still find ourselves singing, “Let it Go!” This bathroom is perfect for those “frozen” Minnesota days when we just want to take a hot bath, plus…there’s just enough sparkle and shine for any princess!

Heaven Is For Real

Although I thought the book was better, this film always reminds me to appreciate my family and health…and there’s no place I’d rather be with my family than this warm, welcoming living room! It perfectly summarizes the movie cover and that bookcase lighting….Heaven!

The Fault In Our Stars

Perhaps the most longed for movie by teens this year, this sappy story didn’t disappoint! Although Augustus and Hazel’s life lacked happiness, this kitchen sure does not! I couldn’t help but choose a European inspired space to represent their spontaneous travels to Amsterdam.

The Best Man Holiday

This is a movie a I stumbled upon on Netflix and after watching, it quickly became a favorite! To summarize, a college group of friends are reunited after 15 years to celebrate the holidays.  With many hard feelings still unresolved and the horrible news of a friends illness, this group of friends are forced to work together through the trials and eventually find happiness. Sidenote: Kleenex box required.  No better way to summarize the holidays than with an inviting dining room! Might as well add in some red too!
