Midwest to East Coast

When designers take to the sky

Wanderlust

This has been a busy summer for Bria Hammel Interiors! In addition to all our lovely Minnesota homes and spaces, we’ve been so #blessed to travel across the country doing several other new construction and interior decorating projects. We’ve taken our Midwest roots to the East Coast, and down to the Southwest mountains.

Bria Hammel Interiors | Out of Town ClientsWe’ve had an absolute blast watching our designs transform as we travel. We didn’t want to create a cozy Northern Minnesota home in the heart of Paradise Valley, Arizona or a lake house when you’re actually really near the ocean in Baltimore, Maryland. So if you’ve been seeing a lot more tribal prints & cacti or coastal blues &  townhouses this should explain it!

The beauty of designing all over the United States means we have to adapt to the style, climate, atmosphere, and even a bit of the history of the cities we visit.  It’s a challenge to continually reinvent how we see a space based on where it is, but the more we do it, the more unique and special these homes become. As we explore the homes and the cities they’re in, we notice what people wear, eat, and the pace of life they live. All of these seemingly insignificant details play huge roles in the fabrics, finishes, and floor plans we choose.

So if you keep seeing our designs changing and adapting, you can guess we may be in another part of the country- and enjoying every second of it!
