The Rapp Farm House Reveal | Part III

The Master suite was the last space we designed for our Rapp Farm family. And the client was clear what they wanted: an escape, and something different than the rest of the home. Although blues and white (with a hint of fuchsia!) filled with main level, we fell in love with bright white with soft blue walls and a hint of light pink for their getaway room. As soon as you pick a color palette that mainly consists of white, texture and pattern became incredibly important, as well as layers on layers! The bed frame was the first and one of the most important pieces we found for the room. We custom designed the headboard and accentuated the curved footboard to give a cozy and dramatic presence. The simple linen and tufting made it a statement piece that would still maintain the calm and serene presence of the rest of the room. Layers of linens in both cool and warm white make this bed one of my favorites. The nightstands and accessories added even more texture and a bit of glam to the room. I also loved the way the mirrored nightstands reflect the beautiful texture of the rug.

The Master bathroom was mostly a blank space when we saw it for the first time. We wanted to keep it as bright and sophisticated as the bedroom but add one more color: soft spa green. The color seen in both of the accessories as well as the vanity chair, brings an aire of calm and freshness to the space. The wide open middle just called for a tufted ottoman with lovely brass nailhead- the perfect place to rest some fresh flowers, soaps, and a bath towel. We added the mirror and sones to add some extra drama and create a centerpiece for the bath. Styling with mostly crystal, glass, and textural items makes this bath feel more a spa than anything!

We hope you loved seeing this dreamy Master suite! Hoping that your home feels like a refreshing getaway today,
