This month we have a lot of travel scheduled, LA, Scottsdale, Nashville… Our first trip is to lovely Los Angeles. So, this week we are focusing on everything we want to see and do in the City of Angels!

The first thing on our list is where to stay, then what to do.

Home of the Golden Globe and Daytime Emmy Awards, The Beverly Hilton is where we will be staying on our four-day visit.

Sadly, it is also known as the hotel where Whitney Houston passed away five years ago. As loyal fans of hers, we may, or may not have a Whitney Houston play list with enough songs to last us the entire trip.

A trip to LA wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel.

{Swoon} there are so many design elements in this hotel that we eat up. From the famous pink color scheme to the 1940s country club inspired décor. It’s easy to be inspired by this historic landmark.

One of our favorite shops to source from is Serena & Lily. Visiting their boutique in West Hollywood is one of the first things we will be doing. Nothing beats seeing your favorite furniture and textiles in person!

We can’t get enough of Serena & Lily’s, bold patterns, and how they use pops of vibrant colors on everything they touch. As Apartment Therapy puts it, their designs “evoke a sort of kid in-candy-store custom design experience.”

It might not be a secret that some of us are avid Bravo channel watchers…with Vanderpump Rules being a weekly recorded show. So, of course reservations were made months ago to visit the famous [and fabulous] Sur.

Not sure how we are going to squeeze it in, but a trip to Rodeo Drive is a must, right?

Believe it or not, we are actually planning on getting work done on this trip.
