Tips & Tricks for Planning Easter Sunday Brunch

Entertaining for Easter

Is it your year to entertain for Easter? Are you planning the food, beverages and decor? Don’t worry, we know a thing or two about this and are excited to share our tips for getting through the prep-work and planning for a fun Easter and beautiful Sunday.

In Minnesota, Easter kicks-off spring. Sometimes we have snow, but if we are lucky, the grass is just beginning to bud and we can bring back a bright and cheerful color palette.

First things first, get everything out and start planning placements and settings. The more you have to work with, the easier your decorating becomes. Scratch the idea that less is more!

If you are like Bria, then you have kiddos running around as you are gearing up for the spring festivities. This means that your bunny décor and colorful dishes may appeal to little hands. So, give them something to do! A fun easter craft specific to the holiday or event will keep them entertained for hours {or at least long enough to set the table}.

While the kids are busy crafting, you can focus on the details. The food is covered {let’s face it, we are better at making things look beautiful rather than cooking for the masses}. This year, Bria hired Molly Ryan of One Cook Catering out of St. Paul to take care of the food {we will share all the delicious menu details later this week}.

With Molly managing the food, Bria can focus on the beverages {we will share those recipes later this week, too!}.

Entertaining is stressful, but, if you are like Bria, planning makes all the difference. Don’t wait until the last minute to figure out those special details.

Later this week, we will reveal how everything turned out at the Hammel’s!

I love the pops of color from the blue plates and flowers against the neutral background! So pretty!
