We have been diving deep into some big projects this month and searching for lots of inspiration from all different sources. As you know, travel is a big source of inspiration for us, as well as design books, Instagram and Pinterest. We continue to grow our Pinterest collection with beautiful inspiration that helps us catalog ideas, styles, and images to help identify a design concept to our clients.
Here is some of our top pins from the month, images that have helped us move the needle with the level of our design for our projects!
Inspired By Color
We have been working on a very important project that we can’t wait to share with you later this year. We are pushing the envelope with color and have been so inspired by some of the work of fellow designers around us. How pretty is this color combination in Kate Arend’s nursery?

This kitchen is not new to the Pinterest world, but this angle is. Urban Grace nailed it on this kitchen design with the blue/green paint color mixed with brass details.

A designer friend of mine, Sara Gibbs, shared her paint colors from her personal home on Pinterest. There might not be a prettier color palette, right?

Architectural Design
Pantry’s have stepped up their game in our designs lately. Clients are all about keeping them organized and beautiful, which allows us to design beautiful pantry’s like this one with glass surrounding it!
We have been working on a fun commercial project for a client of ours. We don’t take on many commercial projects, but the ones we do we always make sure we can put a lot of creative design into the spaces so it doesn’t really feel like a commercial space. How pretty is this grocery store on the east coast? Who wouldn’t want to shop here every week?

Fireplace details have always been important to us. Our clients are allowing us to be more creative and use more unique detailing in these spaces when they see images like this where the fireplace definitely steals the show!
It’s no secret that we love traditional design. Our trend prediction is that the classic traditional style is making a come back. In a few years even the 20 somethings will be loving this classic look. This dining area took our breath away, the mix of traditional design in a very fresh and up to date way!
