We’re Hiring: Summer Interns!

Bria Hammel Interiors offers internships for students looking for an opportunity to grow, share their ideas, and enhance their skills. We are currently hiring three interns for this summer! Junior Design Intern

Details:

• Part-time, paid internship.
• 2 days a week
• 3 month commitment (start date flexible).
• Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design and in your Freshman or Sophomore year.

Learning Goals:

• Decorating and construction processes.
• Worksheet completion.
• Pricing process.
• Resource discovery.
• Resource updates.
• Window treatment and wallpaper estimating.
• Designer history research.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Transportation of accessories and small furniture form storage unit to client home.
• File client purchase orders.
• Organize samples and keep office clean.
• Check in package shipments and client product.
• Showroom sample pickup and returns.
• Update pricing catalogs.
• Make sure fabrics and wallpapers are current.
• Keep client inventory organized.
• Approve and track fabric CFA’s.
• Process sample orders.
• Maintain client binders.
• Assist in pricing.

Senior Design Intern

Details:

• Part-time, paid internship.
• 2 days a week
• 3 month commitment (start date flexible).
• Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design and in your Junior or Senior year.

Learning Goals:

• Decorating and construction processes.
• Worksheet completion.
• Pricing process.
• Basic CAD completion.
• Resource discovery.
• Resource updates.
• Window treatment and wallpaper estimating.
• Designer history research.
• Understanding the elements of style.
• Understanding scale.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• File client purchase orders.
• Organize samples and keep office clean.

Marketing Intern

Details:

• Part-time, paid internship.
• 2 days a week
• 3 month commitment (start date flexible).
• Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Marketing Coordinator and Stylist to develop blog calendar.
• Assist with the planning and execution of blog and portfolio photoshoots.
• Creation and execution of monthly newsletter.
• Light social media planning and management.
• Create graphics for blog posts and Instagram posts/stories.
• Assist in the planning of marketing and client events.
• Help Stylist shop/source product for photoshoots.

Qualifications:

• Team player who loves to collaborate on new ideas and initiatives
• Creative thinker
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (not required but preferred)
• Strong writing skills
• Organized
• Can understand how things photograph
