Accounting Assistant

Job Description

Work closely under the Business Manager assisting with all financial aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

+ Receipt and invoice entry

+ Accounts payable

+ Credit card and bank statement reconciliation

+ Inventory system entry and tracking

+ Accounts receivable

+ Work closely with Business Manager on special projects as needed.

+ Client invoicing

Qualifications

+ Experience in book keeping, not necessarily in the industry but Interior Design industry experience is a bonus!

+ Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

+ Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other programs required.

Social Media Coordinator

Job Description
We’re a growing interior design firm and looking to add to our team!  We have a position of Social Media Coordinator available, and are looking for the right person to work with our Marketing Coordinator, Design Team, Stylist and Brand Manager.  This position requires someone with great qualities and can help bring the BHI brand to life through our social media channels.

Responsibilities

+ Schedule and post Instagram posts and Instagram stories multiple times a day

+ Creating, scheduling and posting weekly posts on social media channels

+ Reply to all comments and direct messages on various social channels

+ Manage calendar schedule for brands

+ Attend social media events, photograph and post when appropriate

+ Keep Houzz and Pinterest pages current

+ Assist with photography on Brooke & Lou collected items

+ Work with marketing team on advertised projects

Qualifications

+ Demonstrate solid knowledge and experience of social media

+ Some experience in photography, including product photography

+ Utilize software compatible with various social media channels

+ Represent the company in a professional manner.

Marketing Intern

Job Description
We are hiring a Marketing Intern to join our team this fall to assist with blog, website, marketing events and materials!

Details

+ Part-time, paid internship.

+ 2 days a week

+ 3 month commitment (start date flexible).

+ Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

+ Work with Marketing Coordinator and Stylist to develop blog calendar.

+ Assist with the planning and execution of blog and portfolio photoshoots.

+ Creation and execution of monthly newsletter.

+ Light social media planning and management.

+ Create graphics for blog posts and Instagram posts/stories.

+ Assist in the planning of marketing and client events.

+ Help Stylist shop/source product for photoshoots.

Qualifications

+ Team player who loves to collaborate on new ideas and initiatives

+ Creative thinker

+ Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (not required but preferred)

+ Strong writing skills

+ Organized

+ Can understand how things photograph
