Ah, sweet summertime. Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, and my kids are already looking for something to do. 😅 To avoid the dreaded “Mom, I’m borrrred!”, I began the hunt for fun, interactive activities that my littles could do this summer well before that final school bell rang. Enter: Banwood Bikes. We are no stranger to this brand (we got Brooklyn one of their First Go! Balance Bike’s for her 2^ndbirthday), so when I discovered they were launching a new line of classic, pedal bikes I was so excited.

While their no pedal, balance bike were perfect for getting Brooklyn started with the idea of riding a bike, she was ready to upgrade and bust out those training wheels this summer and this bicycle couldn’t be more perfect for her. Not only is it high quality, but it also happens to be incredibly cute! Best of both worlds, am I right?

Although it comes in a few different colors, we went with white so that she could go grow into and love it for years to come. Add on an adorable wicker basket to the front and you pretty much have the bike I dreamed of having when I was a little girl. Where was Banwood when I was growing up?!

Now that that weather has warmed up, my kiddos are spending pretty much all of their time outdoors and I don’t blame them! Brooklyn absolutely loves riding her new cruiser, and her big brother loves to chase her around and race her up and down the driveaway all day long.

There’s something so nostalgic about a new bicycle and immediately brings to me back to my childhood and recollections of spending my summer days riding around the neighborhood or up to the convenience store for candy. It makes me so happy watching my kids enjoy this same experience and creating memories that will last them a lifetime.
