My Laundry Room Reveal

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a space from my personal home on the blog and today I’m so excited to get back in the swing of things with the reveal of my laundry room!

I always find it funny how some of the most high-traffic areas in homes are often the ones that get neglected when it comes to design. Mudrooms, powder bathrooms, basement rec. rooms, and, of course, laundry rooms! And, I’ll admit, I’m guilty of it too! Finishing our laundry room has been on our list of to-do’s for years, and I couldn’t be more excited to finally check it off. Better late than never, right?

Perhaps it’s a way to trick myself into thinking that doing laundry is fun (although the large pile of clothes stacking up next to me would beg to differ), but a gorgeous laundry room can be a real game changer for your home.

For my own, I knew I wanted it to be happy, bright, and functional. From the brass bar for hanging clothing to individual baskets for each member of the family, to me, a laundry room can only truly thrive when it’s organized and useful. However, the designer in me also wanted to make sure that it was a beautiful space as well. To avoid disrupting the pretty design with unattractive laundry room accessories and products, I went on a hunt to find products that were aesthetically pleasing and I would enjoy having in the room. Enter: Grove Collaborative.

I’ve heard a few of my friends talk about Grove before and I was immediately interested. Sustainable, healthy home products sent right to your door? What more could you want? Well, if I wasn’t already sold by the convenience factor alone, their products came beautifully packaged and branded too. Which I’m always a sucker for. After a few months of trying out their products, I was pretty much hooked. For my laundry room, I ordered the dryer balls and starter set which comes with a stain remover, laundry detergent, and laundry vessel. I absolutely love every single thing I received and, even better, I like having them displayed on my counter. Who says functional can’t also be pretty?

PSA: Grove Collaborative is giving away a free laundry starter set on your first order right now if you’re wanting to try it out! Click here to shop. You can thank me later! 😉
