My Guest Bedroom Reveal with Gabby

Be our guest, be our guest! Today, I am so happy to finally share with you all our guest bedroom reveal. We have big things planned for our home over the next year and I’m excited to kick that all off with our guest bedroom.

Whether it’s friends coming into town or family staying with us over the holidays, this room gets used fairly frequently and I wanted to make it the most beautiful, serene and inspiring space as possible. A true retreat-like experience!

Before, this room was a complete blank slate. A bed and nightstand that Charlie and I had purchased when we first got married were the only pieces that filled the space so it was in major need of a refresh. The room also isn’t the largest, but we really used that to our advantage.

For smaller spaces, I always encourage focusing on the tiny details. Take the time to figure out how you can utilize every square inch intelligently, incorporate unique architectural elements, and invest in show-stopping furnishings. For this space, we immediately thought of Gabby. A brand we use (and love!) for our clients projects repeatedly. From the custom bed, the chest that sits next to it, and the accent chair for our guests to toss their belongings on, we curated a strong group of pieces that work so effortlessly together.

This space turned out more beautiful than I ever could have imagined that I sometimes sneak away from our master bedroom (which I still have yet to design!) to sleep in here. I love it that much.

What a lovely, serene space! So often guest rooms become the graveyard for cast off furniture and lumpy old mattresses. I’m sure your guests will feel very comfortable and cozy here, so much consideration and care has gone into every detail!

The millwork is spectacular! Would you mind sharing the paint color on the walls above it? Thank you!

My husband and I have agreed to use this as the inspiration for our master bedroom redesign. Getting us to agree on a design is quite the feat! We’ve spent 4 years looking for the right inspiration room and this is it! So excited. Thank you for sharing!
