Behind the Bria Hammel x etúHOME Collection

There are so many things we love about etúHOME. Their soft, clean aesthetic, European craftmanship, and dedication to creating elevated every day staples.

We’ve carried their pieces at Brooke & Lou for years, so when we were approached to create an exclusive, capsule collection with etúHOME, it was an absolute no-brainer. Today, we’re excited to share a little behind-the-scenes look at our collaboration and how the pieces came to be.

THE INSPIRATION

Since etúHOME’s pieces are made in Europe, we wanted to highlight that European influence while also incorporating some of our own signature design details we’re known for (i.e. vintage-inspired touches and a soft blue, cream, and camel color palette).

The inspiration behind our collection was a French outdoor kitchen. Whether you’re cooking in your kitchen with the fresh air blowing through your windows or setting up an al-fresco dining table, we wanted to take those light, organic details we love about the Spring/Summer season but give them that classic, French aesthetic we’re endlessly inspired by

THE PROCESS

We were able to share what we felt was missing in the current market, what we were longing for as designers when it came to styling pieces and a viewpoint as to how other designers and homeowners could utilize these pieces in their homes. EtúHOME was able to provide their years of retail and product development experience and expertise to lead us with making smart decisions when it came to colors, textures, sizing, price points, etc. It was truly the perfect partnership!

THE COLLECTION

The Bria Hammel x etúHOME Collection features a mix of dual-function wood, glass, and ceramic kitchen accessories that seamlessly blend into any home.

It introduces an entirely new serving board shape for etúHOME – a semi-oval wooden board that is distinguished by a strip of contrasting timber and easily stands under kitchen cabinets for display.

The ceramics include a mix of hand-thrown stacking bowls, a pitcher, a minimalist stove side utensil holder, a spoon rest, and a wooden pinch pot tray designed to sit next to your stove for easy access to spices or on your table filled with your favorite spreads and dips.

The glass pieces include two new French Mason Jars that are as functional as they are beautiful. The neutral color palette of the collection – grey, cream, and natural – will perfectly compliment a variety of kitchen styles and elevate any kitchen into a stylish yet functional space.
